Harp and Lyre (from Purevolume)
Finding a quality Christian alternative band can prove to be difficult these days, but Harp and Lyre, springing from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is a wonderful hardcore Christian hardcore band. This all-guy indie sextuplet consists of Tyler (Vocals), Noah (Guitar), Joseph (Guitar), Phillip (Keyboard and Vocals), Dylan (Drums), and Clay (Bass).
I gotta hand it to them, they lay it down pretty good. Upon first listen they gave me the impression that they were just trying to be next Underoath, but, after skimming through their new EP (Full streaming on Purevolume) I started to hear something that amazed me. They have their own [awesome] sound, and in my opinion, they’re going to be absolutely huge.
I strongly recommend giving Harp and Lyre a good listen!
