One of the many bands that got a lot of support and attention at last year’s Warped Tour was Mayday Parade. The melancholic and thoughtful lyrics that mesh so well with the instrumentals make all heartbroken fans worldwide feel like there is hope for them, and that they are not alone in whatever situation they are going through. The album ‘A Lesson In Romantics’ that was released in 2007 was well perceived by the teenage population, since it was very well written. I am definitely one of those people who listened to their album on repeat, and breathed in every single song that they released, and know i’m not the only one who did that.Do you want more Mayday goodness? (of course you do) Good news Mayday fans! The band began recording a new album in December 2008, and are now finishing it up. The record is set to be released in the near future, in the summer or upcoming fall. Boy, i know i’m excited. Who knows what it will sound like? I’m predicting more amazing lyrics, and even better instrumentals. Knowing that the band is so dedicated to what they do, and that they put their whole heart into making the best music they can, they will definitely gain more adoring fans, popularity, and teenagers that feel connected to the band through the messages that they are trying to send out. So keep your eyes peeled for Mayday, since they’re about to make a splash!
