The maine totally roxx
While browsing through a long list of potential ‘new’ bands to listen to, I came across only one that actually caught my eye (or ear, I should say): The Maine. I’ll be honest, they were kind of plain. The Maine is plain. I made a rhyme. Anyways, despite sounding like many other bands out there, their music is absolutely catchy. The band, consisting of John O’Callaghan on vocals, Garrett Nickelsen on bass, Kennedy Brock and Jared Monaco on guitar, and Pat Kirch on drums, puts out some awesome tunes. The band’s first full length album, entitled ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop,’ was released on July 8, 2008. Consisting of 12 super catchy songs, it’s fairly well made for the bands first full album. The songs I recommend? ‘Into Your Arms,’ and ‘We All Roll Along.’ The boys are currently on the extremely successful AP Tour with 3OH!3, Family Force 5, Hit The Lights, and A Rocket To The Moon, and many shows are already sold out.
