Recently the band Therefore I Am, a self-pronounced post-hardcore band from Boston held a street team contest to get volunteers for Warped Tour. The winners for each date get free entry and VIP wristband for themself and a friend in exchange for helping promote the band during the day.
Even though the contest has ended, the band is still looking for volunteers. The dates that still need volunteers are:
7/2/09-san antonio, tx
8/7/09-boise id
8/8/09-slc, ut
8/14/09- vancouver, bc
8/ 15/09-seattle, wa
8/ 19/09-fresno, ca
To help at one of these dates simply send the band a message on Myspace. In the message include your name, phone number, email address, and the date you would like to attend.
By volunteering you will be asked to help promote the band a few hours of the day, but you will have time to check out your favorite bands. You will be asked to be at the venue around 9am, but at this time you will be let in.
Sounds easy enough right? So message them for your free entry to Warped Tour!
