Warped Tour begins it’s 15th year in just a few days. Although it’s been going on for 15 years, many people have never gone and are unsure of what to expect. This isn’t your average concert and you should be prepared to spend the entire day out in the heat. Having trouble deciding what to wear? Wondering what you can do to help keep cool? Shoes: first things first, ABSOLUTELY NO FLIP FLOPS! Chances are being around so many people you will most likely get stepped on at least once. Flip flops in addition to not being very comfortable, are also not very sturdy. Wear some tennis shoes with some comfy socks!! Vans (of course!) and Chuck Taylor Converse seem to be the most popular, but wear some you know are comfortable and won’t come off in the pit.
Shirt: Wear something light-colored and light-weight. Girls be warned, it has been known to rain during Warped Tour so think twice before wearing a white shirt with only a bra underneath.
Shorts: once again, something light-weight that won’t cling to your skin. I do not recommend pants although some people insist on wearing skinny jeans to complete their outfit. It will get very hot and I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather watch my favorite bands play then spend the day in the First Aid tent for heat exhaustion. Also, wear something that has pockets close to your body and maybe even pockets with a zipper or velcro. This can help prevent people from stealing money out of your pocket.
Acessories: wear sunglasses, sunscreen, and maybe even a hat to protect your head from the sun. Leave the jewelry at home unless you want it ripped off in the pit. 
I hope this helps and remember, it’s going to be a long, hot day so don’t worry about how you look. It’s better to be comfortable then to be stuck trying to find shade because you wore something to hot!
